Microcosm (one) is an installation commissioned by the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan as part of the exhibition “Alternative Paradise,” November 2005 – February 2006. The piece was positioned within an architectural niche window space that separated Wilson’s gallery from an interior courtyard. The work was conceived to respond to the open nature of the museum architecture where inside and outside fold in and out.
